Who You Are: You have general knowledge of IP, LTE and satellite communications. What You’ll Do:

  • Leading a team of highly motivated staff, nurturing their desire to learn and to evolve. 
  • Conceiving the strategy for regional/remote service support.
  • Contribute to the CONOPs (processes, procedures, interactions with various internal and external stakeholders) involving the Service Support team. Ensuring CONOPs are fulfilling the business needs and reflect staged evolution of the organization.  
  • Coordinate activities of the Service Support team, including, and not limited to:
    • Proactive analysis of OneWeb system performance, to identify anomalies which lead to poor performance.
    • Enhancing system and service reporting to understand and communicate user experience with internal and external stakeholders.   
    • Acting as the technical escalation point internally and externally during complex service investigations.  
    • Focusing on analyzing and mitigating early life service failures to improve customer experience. 
    • Ensuring fluid communication with the various cross functional teams on technical investigations and developments. 
    • Supporting the User Terminals team with the release process: preparation, execution, and documentation.
    • Technical investigations on the OneWeb system performance across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Keep automation at the forefront of all activities.   

What it Takes: 

  • Resilience, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Flexibility: Ensure you can adapt your strategy to the evolving business needs
  • Acumen: Anticipating internal or external stakeholders needs
  • MS or equal in Telecommunications or similar
  • 5 years’ experience within an operational domain
  • Demonstrated experience in customer support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing teams and building organizations from ground 

What We’d Love:

  • Data analytics skills
  • Experience with radio link layer 

Where You’ll Be: London, UK. This role includes on-call rotation and occasional traveling.
